One Hour is expanding! There is now a One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning franchise in Blue Springs, Missouri that will service the Missouri side of the Kansas City area. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, formerly Temp-Rite Heating & Cooling, is now open for business. Owner Steve Kurtz, is a native to Lee's Summit, Missouri with a degree in mechanical engineering and 23 years of manegerial experience.

Steve took ownership in November of 2005. He and his wife, Denise, successfully turned the operation from almost entirely new construction to service and replacement. This changed the company’s focus toward working in cooperation with homeowners instead of builders and developers. Customer satisfaction is the heartbeat of the company and that is why they decided it was time to convert the business to One Hour. They look forward to continuing their relationship with the Blue Springs and surrounding area with an even greater understanding of the needs of their customers.
